Trainer-Nutritionist

As a kid, I didn’t do any sports, hence I was quite heavy as a kid.  My first gym experience was Lucille Robert’s in Brooklyn at 22 after getting by bachelors in biology from Brooklyn college! I was the definition of a cardio queen. I did every class imaginable. I stayed the same weight but lost 5 dress sizes.

I was always interested in health and at that time I went to chiropractic school.  After graduation and becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic,  I practiced for about 5 years but with extenuating circumstances and having 2 small children, put that aside. Although being a stay-at-home mom, I was always trying to stay fit. I joined a gym and continued my fitness exploration-spin, step, body sculpting, Pilates, etc

Although I was fit, 2017, I started having weird sensations in my feet. A year of exploration, I found that I had spinal stenosis. I had back surgery (fusion) in 2019. After 4 months, I was cleared to work out again. I started slow. I took a personal training course, more so for my knowledge of how to work out.  I was so fascinated with the different workouts.  I wanted to pursue it further.

During Covid, I was curious about how my weight stays the same, but I don’t see any physical results of my workouts. I pursued further and got a nutrition certification. I started counting macros and lost 20lbs.  I figured now that my kids were older, I can help others pursue their health and fitness through training/nutrition/ overall health.

Although I was considered a “couch potato” as a kid, I’m the complete opposite as an adult, always trying to keep active. Whether it be weightlifting, bike riding, hiking and our newest hobby-ballroom dancing. Now I would love to help you!
