Meet Keith
Personal Trainer- Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Growing up sports and fitness was an important part of my life. I began weight training at the age of 15 and all throughout high school which contributed to me being an All-State football player and subsequently playing 4 years of College Football (Linebacker) at a division 3 school. I then became interested in body building in the mid 90s training at Stu Rosenstein’s Powerhouse gym in Freehold, NJ. At this point in my life, I decided to pursue a career in law enforcement which led me to choose a healthy lifestyle knowing my fitness would be an important part of my life and survival during my career.
In 2008 I discovered the world of martial arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which I have been training for 13 years and hold the rank of black belt. I train under team Jucao and team Renzo Gracie with both affiliates putting me through four days a week of rigorous training that has kept my body and mind in top condition. The defensive tactics and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu have strengthened and conditioned both my body and mind in the pursuit of my career as a personal trainer.
In 2009 I chose to adapt to a vegan and plant-based lifestyle and have been doing so since. I have recently retired from Law Enforcement after over 20 years of experience and have focused specifically on personal training and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (defensive tactics).
In 35 years of training and being involved in various sports and physical activity I will be able to help you obtain your goals from weight loss to strength training. I look forward to sharing my knowledge base and experience in getting you to achieve your fitness goals. “You can’t go back and make a new beginning, but you can move forward and make a brand new ending.”
